Wanpy Strengthens Regional Presence at Pet Expo Malaysia 2025

From May 30 to June 2, Wanpy, a leading global pet food brand, made a significant impact at Pet Expo Malaysia 2025, held at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur. As one of Malaysia’s largest and most anticipated pet care events, the expo attracted thousands of visitors, including pet owners, industry professionals, and enthusiasts from across the region. For Wanpy, the event presented a strategic opportunity not only to showcase its growing product portfolio but also to engage directly with pet parents in Southeast Asia.

Wanpy’s booth stood out as a key attraction during the four-day event. With its eye-catching blue branding, modern product displays, and interactive experience zones, the booth welcomed a steady flow of customers eager to explore Wanpy’s signature offerings, including  fresh meat stews, functional jerky, and training treats. Pet parents had the opportunity to learn more about the brand’s commitment to high-quality ingredients, food safety, and pet wellbeing.

The response from Malaysian pet parents was overwhelmingly positive. Many praised Wanpy’s clean-label recipes and palatability across different pet breeds and ages.

“My cats may come from difficult backgrounds, but they all agree on one thing: Wanpy snacks are their favorite,” said Jane, a Kuala Lumpur resident and proud pet mom of 10 rescue cats.

“My dog refuses dry food, but Wanpy’s jerky? He can’t get enough,” added RKO, a dog owner from Selangor. “I always keep a few packs at home.”

According to Sakko Yi, Brand Manager at Wanpy:

“Malaysia is an important and fast-growing market. Our presence at the expo enabled us to engage directly with pet owners, building relationships and deepening our understanding of local needs. This reflects Wanpy’s ongoing commitment to long-term brand trust and market relevance.”

Wanpy’s participation reflects a broader strategy to grow in Southeast Asia through a combination of quality product offerings, consumer insights, and local engagement. With pet ownership on the rise and consumer expectations evolving, the brand is committed to staying aligned with local preferences.
